UK duo expands partnership with rising producer for groove-driven production built around distinctive vocal and instinctive rhythm

Avant-garde electronic duo Mia Mendi teams with TH;EN for their third collaboration “Run Free,” out now via Simulate. The track pushes their partnership into more peak-time territory while maintaining the emotion and groove that defined previous releases “Collapsing Sky” and “Escape Plan.”

“Run Free” centers on a distinctive vocal that gives the track its character and attitude on the dancefloor. The production balances Mia Mendi’s experimental edge with accessible energy, built around rhythm and instinctive groove work. The collaboration between James Oliver, Meti Mehmeti, and TH;EN has evolved into a natural creative flow that translates directly to dancefloor impact.

Speaking on the release, Mia Mendi shares, “Working with TH;EN has become second nature for us over the last couple of years. After releases like Collapsing Sky and Escape Plan, Run Free felt like a chance to push things into a more peak-time space while still keeping the emotion and groove intact. The track came together very instinctively, and Simulate felt like the perfect home for that energy.”

The release arrives as Mia Mendi continues building momentum through strategic partnerships with major labels in the space following a decade of developing their distinct sonic signature. Recent performances at Soho Garden Dubai, ZERO-SITE Tokyo, NSCI Dome Mumbai, and ADE Amsterdam have seen James commanding stages with immersive energy while Meti crafts increasingly bold productions in the studio. Extensive touring across Europe, Asia, and India while sharing stages with Enrico Sangiuliano, Massano, Hunter/Game and Kevin de Vries demonstrate their growing reach across global dancefloors.

Mia Mendi has earned multiple top ten Beatport placements including a #1 chart position with their Hydera debut “Cultum” on the Melodic House & Techno chart. Their productions have gained support from Adriatique, Anyma, Solomun, ARTBAT, Tiësto, Innellea, Tale of Us, Dom Dolla, Vintage Culture, Swedish House Mafia, John Summit, and Miss Monique.

Beyond their own imprints Hydera and Species, they’ve released on globally renowned labels including Armada Music, Watergate, ERRORR, and Stil Vor Talent, earning radio plays across Germany, UK, Spain, Mexico, and the USA.
